Welcome
to Maastricht, the capital of Limburg. A city with a rich history, and
lots of cultural events.
One of those events is of course, the Maastricht Carnival, to which I have
dedicated a page of my own. This page will give you some information of
the city and it's events, mainly by providing links to other pages about
the subjects.
Some of the most interesting events, besides carnival, is the
Preuvenemint, which is a gastronomic event on a square called the Vrijthof.
It is held each year, and a lot of café's and restaurants put up a stand
on the Vrijthof to sell food or drinks to visitors. If you want to know

Besides pages about Maastricht, I have also listed some pages about
Limburg, the most southern province of the Netherlands.
And last but not least, there's a link to a Limburgian page with lesser
