Limburg has a rich musical culture. There are hundreds of harmonies and fanfares, but also artists and bands. Besides folk music and other types of music, there are also a lot of bands and artists with a more comical and carnavalesque repertoire.
My dad used to perform a carnavalesque act with the famous Limburgian singer Beppie Kraft, who sings songs in the Maastricht language. A few pictures of how that looked like are below (click to enlarge). They performed as an elderly couple, who constantly argued and also sang songs.
